Tea is an evergreen tree belonging to the theaceae family. The wild plant can reach up to 10 metres. When cultivated its height is comprised between 1.5 to 2m. Its evergreen leaves are bright and dark green. They are picked when young and not yet fully grown. The flowers of the tea plant are white to light yellow, isolated or in small groups. They have at least 5 light yellow or cream coloured petals. On cultivated teas flowers are not allowed to bloom. Tea leaves are processed differently to obtain either green, black or oolong tea. To obtain green tea, the freshest leaves are dried with the buds. To obtain oolong tea leaves are left to wither in the sun, then slightly ground and partially left to ferment. To obtain black tea the fermentation process is carried further.
Infused green tea leaves are traditionally used to facilitate weight loss to supplement diet measures. Green tea helps you control your weight and stimulate fat breakdown.
Mate is a shrub 20 m in height when wild, growing in the mountains of Paraguay. It becomes bushy when trimmed for culture. It has large persistent leaves and white flowers, with red berries like holly.
Mate leaves are traditionally used to facilitate loss of weight to supplement diet measures, to stimulate the degradation of fat and control your weight.

The Diffussence box is recyclable. The crystalline bag is biodegradable. The outer wrap on the other hand should be disposed of in the wastebin, as environmentally-friendly solutions have not been found yet to maintain the preservation properties of the foil.
